How goods earn a place on the shelf

1

Taste before story

We sample oil and herb blends without reading the marketing first. If the fruit is flat or the za’atar tastes only of salt, it does not ship.

2

Harvest window

Early-harvest oils keep a green edge; later fruit softens. We label intensity honestly so you know what goes in a salad versus a slow stew.

3

Dark glass, short list

Light kills good oil. We prefer dark bottles, modest SKUs, and dates you can read. A crowded shelf is not a virtue.

4

Table, not trend

We write for home cooks who already know labneh and flatbread — and for neighbors learning the pantry for the first time. No “superfood” claims on the label.
